KAREN WILLIAMS (OSBORN) OBITUARY

LIMA -- Karen Sue Osborn, 79, went home to be with the Lord at 11:34am on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at Wooded Glen Health Campus in Springfield, Ohio under the care of Compassus Hospice.

Karen was born on June 26, 1943 in Lima, Ohio to Walter and Monad (Keenan) Williams. On January 27, 1967 she married Richard L. Osborn Sr. who preceded her in death on March 14, 2009.

Karen was a 1961 graduate of Lima Senior High School. She worked as an Accounts Payable Clerk at West Ohio Gas Company where she later retired. She loved spending time with her husband and family at their place on Kelleys Island. She took great pride in teaching her grandkids how to swim. She enjoyed fishing, boating, sunbathing, gardening, canning, singing along to records, following the Cincinnati Reds, and was an avid Elvis Presley and Pete Rose fan.

She is survived by her children, Kristine (Douglas) Poland, Kimberly Dickerson, Tammy Lehman-McDonnell (Joe McDonnell) and Cindy (Dan) Tritipo, son-in-law Kenneth Dickerson; Grandchildren: Justin (Emily) Lehman, Jennifer (Jeffrey) Schneyer, Jaime (Airica) Bozeman, Jacob Lehman, Evan McDonnell, Tyler Poland, Erika Dickerson, Amber (Anthony) Gronas, Cierra Osborn and Jessica Cockerell; great-grandchildren: Peyton and Paige Lehman, Peyton Benefield, Rachel and Samantha Schneyer, Malaya Gronas, Amirah and Wrenley Merschman; sister, Edna (Ralph) Davis, sister-in-law, Cheryl Osborn and several nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Richard L.Osborn Jr, sons-in-laws, Brent Lehman and Travis Elliott; brothers Harold (Marilyn) Williams and Robert (Rose) Williams; sister, Eileen (Dean) Hollar and nephew, Walter Stanley Hollar.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Eric and the Compassus Hospice team for their dedication and compassionate care over the last year.

The family will receive family and friends from 11am to 12pm on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12pm. Interment at Fairmount Cemetery, Auglaize County.
