Judith Lynn Huffman Buerger, 63, of Clearwater Florida, formerly of Lima, died May 20, 2007, in Clearwater, following an extended illness.
She was born December 23, 1943, to William R and Vera E Young Huffman. Her father preceded her in death. Her mother survives in Clearwater, Florida. In August 1973, she married Theodore Buerger, who died in July 1995.
Mrs Buerger had been a school psychologist at Lakewood Public Schools, Lakewood. She was a member of Northwood Presbyterian Church, Clearwater, Florida. She was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She was a graduate of Lima Senior High School and Bowling Green State University and received her master’s degree from John Carroll University, Cleveland. She was a dear aunt, cousin, niece and beloved friend to many.
Survivors also include a son, David S (Lucy Rojas) Buerger, of Sterling Virginia; a sister, Rebecca L Huffman, of Clearwater Florida; a brother, William L (Mila Darlene) Huffman of Jacksonville, Florida; a granddaughter, Zoe Yazmine; and lifelong friend, Linda Eidson Sandvoss.
Memorial services will begin at 1pm Saturday at Ketchamp-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford. Pastor Karen Long will officiate. Burial will be in Mendon Cemetery, Mendon. Friends may call one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Northwood Presbyterian Church memorial Fund, 2875 State Road 580, Clearwater, Florida 33761.
