WAPAKONETA – JAMES C “JIM” MILLER

James C “Jim” Miller, 64, died the afternoon of February 5, 2008, at his residence.

He was born August 5, 1943 in Lima to Franklin C and Violet Lucille Bellinger Miller who preceded him in death.  On September 30, 1962, he married Diane Sue Croft, who died May 19, 1993.  On July 20, 1996, he married Denise L Rough who survives

Mr Miller owned and operated Miller’s Corral, Wapakoneta, since its inception in 1981.  He attended First United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 330, Wapakoneta.  He was a 1961 graduate of Lima Senior High School. Friends and family recall him as one of the most honest and hard-working men they have ever known. His time was spent helping others and providing for his family. When he wasn’t hard at work, he enjoyed playing cards, fishing, tinkering with his classic cars, traveling, remodeling and relaxing with his family.

Survivors also include four children, Ted (Kathi) Miller, of Spencerville, and Kim (Chris) Kinkendall, Lisa Miller and Ty (Janis) Miller, all of Cridersville; three step-grandchildren, Royce Bryan, Candace Bryan and Erica Bryan, all of Wapakoneta; 11 grandchildren, Brittany, Cortney and Megan Miller; J.B. Kirkendall, Jodi (Brandon) Holmes, and Zachary, Nathaniel, Kevin, Keaton, Grant and Leah Miller; a sister, Susan (Gary) Herman, of Cridersville; a brother, Ronald Miller of Wapakoneta; and several nieces and nephews

Services will begin at 10:30am Saturday at Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home,Wapakoneta. Pastor Greg Roberts will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 Friday at the funeral home.
