Marc was a good friend. I had many fun times with Marc and the guys. Especially at his Mom and Dad's place at Lake St. Marys. When he died in a tragic auto accident, his family and their faith in Chirst had a huge influence on me for the rest of my life.
Marc Wayne Rone was born May 14, 1943, the son of Gerald and Emma Hicks Rone, who survive at 545 Hazel. Co-owner of Pride of Lima Provision Co., he was a member of Calvary Bible Church. He was a 1961 graduate of Lima Senior High School and was graduated from Otterbein College in January, where he was a member of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity.
Other survivors include two brothers, Gerald Jr., Rt. 1, Wapakoneta and Rowland of 3434 Musser Dr. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Chiles and Sons - Laman Chapel, Rev. Frank Hamblen and Rev. George Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 tonight. Active pallbearers will be Richard Semple, John Seigler, Charles Prowant, Dennis Miller and Larry Buttermore. Honorary pallbearers will be Raymond Dorley Jr., Donald Dorley, James Donald, Charles Rice, Bruce Fellows and David Hamblen.
