LIMA – JANET MARIE RUDSILL

Janet Marie Rudsill, 58, died at 11:45pm November 7, 2002 at her residence

She was born November 24, 1943 in Lima to William S and Zeinth Vasel Jordan Twining who preceded her in death. In October of 1967 she married Charles Scott “Rudy” Rudsill, who died March 27, 1976.

Mrs. Rudsill was a homemaker. She was a member of Only Believe Ministries, Botkins. She loved going to church and listening to Christian music. She belonged to a quilting club and made quilts for family and friends. Mrs Rudsill also volunteered at the American Cancer Society and went into schools to promote not smoking. She also loved garage sales and worked as a nursing assistant at Lima Memorial Hospital and at Mary Ann Brown. She, along with her husband, operated a route franchise for The Toledo Blade, but her greatest love was being a homemaker.

Survivors include two daughters, Christina Rudsill and Michele I Rudsill, both of Lima; five brothers, Harry (Alice) Twining of Wapakoneta, James E (Sharron) Twining of Gilboa, Loren “Butch” (Blanch) Twining and Glen (Nadine) Twining, both of Lima, and Thomas (Pam) Twining of Cridersville; five sisters, Mary Johns of Cridersville, Nancy (Dale) Henderson, Elsie Plikerd, Theresa Swallow and Twila (Rob) Carr, all of Lima; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, William S Twining Jr; and a brother-in-law, Lloyd Johns.

Services will begin at 10am Monday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev Ed Ingram will officiate. Burial will be in Shawnee Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8pm today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
